Use these tools to estimate your points, timing and savings. They don’t connect to your Rapid Rewards or Chase account. Your entries stay in this browser page and reset when you reload. Start with your Companion Pass tracker and your own offer terms.
How many points do you still need?
Enter only points for one person in one calendar year. Already-posted boosts belong in your current total; only add a boost separately if it isn’t already included.
The calculation rounds purchase points down to whole points and excludes purchased or transferred points. You’ll still need Southwest to confirm you’ve qualified. All rewards must post in the year you’re aiming for.
When would your pass expire?
The standard pass ends on December 31 of the year after qualification. Select when you expect to qualify, not when you expect to apply.
Promotional passes have their own dates. Your return flight must also fall within your pass’s travel window. This tool estimates how long your pass would last under current rules; it can’t predict when a bonus will post.
What would you save?
Use the fare you’d otherwise pay for the companion, including taxes. We subtract the taxes you still pay and your extra earning costs.
